Exercise 3

This exercise I imagined a forest with human like creatures which in this case are bugs. I utilized parent/child functions to recreate multiple ants in different places. I also utilized translation and variables to create a moving bee graphic in the background.

Exercise 4 is the scene from exercise 3 but instead has the view from the beehive's perspective up in the tree. This exercise utilizes classes to create multiple objects (the bees) that have their own individuality. Each bee is slightly different in size, speed, and where they will land in the flower patch.

Project 2

Project 2 is a scene of the ocean where there's fish peacefully roaming the currents. However, as they swim downward into deeper waters, a whirpool catches them and they get pulled down deeper into the depths of the sea. What they didn't realize is to find themselves in yet another peaceful place near the sea floor. This project includes two algorithms: Particles & Sine Waves. The ocean floor is a digital image created in adobe illustrator. The original idea for this project was to have waves with a boat riding the "sine ocean waves". However, after playing with the sine waves, I decided to go into the water and create particles depicting of fish, leading me further into more ideas and realizations of the possibilities under the water. I was also originally going to do multiple scenes that would immediately change but realized that it would be more natural for a smooth movement transition using gradients and alpha.
